Komptech Americas and Plexus Recycling Technologies have named Brandon Lapsys as president of both organizations. Lapsys will take over the position previously held by Marcel Vallen.
Mr. Lapsys brings to this position deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of company leadership. Before being named president, Lapsys served in many roles within the Komptech Americas organization. Lapsys has played a key part in the evolution of the Komptech Americas business, overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and directing senior staff since 2008. Mr. Lapsys also participated in the successful launch of Plexus Recycling Technologies in 2016.

Moving forward, Lapsys will continue to be based at the company’s headquarters in Denver, Colorado. In addition to his role as president, he also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Construction and Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA), where he was named C&D Member of the Year in March 2020.
