McClung-Logan Equipment Company has opened their newly constructed service facility in Baltimore. This state-of-the-art shop will better position the company to serve their growing customer base throughout Maryland.
The 16,422 sq. ft. facility includes eight bays measuring 11,880 sq. ft., two 5-ton over head bridge cranes, fully integrated lubrication system, environmentally friendly indoor wash bay, in-floor heating system, and a new service & safety training center. Designed to meet the latest energy efficiency requirements, the building features all LED motion sensor lights and climate control HVAC.
While some finishing touches are still being made in-and-around the facility, a team of technicians are actively supporting customers in the new shop area. The spacious building will house members from the Service, Parts, Warranty and Product Support departments. Demolition of the former service facility will take place later this month.
“We are extremely proud to be opening our new service facility in Baltimore. It was a long-time coming and will allow us to deliver exceptional support for our customers while providing our employees with a safe, best-in-class working environment.”
– Darrin Brown, President of McClung-Logan.
Darrin continued, “This would not have been possible without the support of Bob Matz, David Matz and Tom Logan. A big round of applause also goes out to many people that were extremely helpful in bringing this project to reality. Thank you to Willie Plessman, Austin Frederick, Matt Clark (and his Service team), Ron Whittington (and his Parts team), Kristin McNees, and Sherry McDonald for their valuable contributions.”
